TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions involving Telford Reprographics Limited or on or on www.telfordfoilcompany.co.uk.
By placing an order with Telford Reprographics Limited you are accepting these terms and conditions. Please take the time to read them and print a copy for your reference.
Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions. Anyone placing an order through must be 18 years of age or older with Telford Reprographics Limited possessing the right to refuse any customer or order at our discretion.
Failure to exercise or delay in exercising any rights or provisions listed in our terms and conditions shall not be regarded as a waiver of our rights or remedies for current or future exercises in relation to our terms and conditions.
Description of Goods/Warranty and Liability
Although we declare that the goods will, at the time of dispatch, match the description given by the website; the products we offer are of a nature in which we cannot publish detailed specifications of every product. All images, descriptions, specifications and advertising content are only for the purpose of supplying our customers with an approximate depiction of the goods. Due to the nature of our products, we cannot guarantee an exact match between repeat orders.
Telford Reprographics Limited reserves the right to change any details of listed products without prior warning and while we make every effort to describe our products accurately on the product page no warranty is given as to accuracy and no responsibility will be accepted for error or mis-description and any resulting loss.
Any artwork that is being supplied by customers must be in CMYK format.
Telford Reprographics Limited will not be held responsible or accountable for any changes in colour when artwork is converted to CMYK.
Artwork should be supplied as 300dpi high resolution PDF files.
Telford Reprographics Limited is not responsible for images that may print blurred or pixelated due to the resolution of the artwork supplied by the customer.
All artwork is required to have at least 2mm bleed on all edges of the document regardless of size and layout.
If you are unfamiliar with the term ‘bleed’ then please call us on 01952 670211 and we will try and assist you. If the artwork supplied is not deemed to be ‘Print Ready’ then Telford Reprographics Limited will contact you and give you the opportunity to re-supply or make any changes necessary.
In some cases Telford Reprographics Limited will amend your artwork for you without charge if it is simple and have the necessary assets; however charges will need to be made for alterations which cannot be applied quickly. Telford Reprographics Limited will of course advise you of any costs beforehand.
Any delays in artwork being altered, due to it not being supplied as ‘Print Ready’, may result in the order missing it’s delivery time but this will also be confirmed as early as possible.
Any customer requesting and/or receiving a proof from Telford Reprographics Limited are expected to check all details, including quality, spelling and size. Telford Reprographics Limited will accept no responsibility for any artwork error found after the job has been proofed and printed. If an artwork error is found after the proofing process and the job has been printed, any reprint requested by the customer will be treated as a new contract/order and billed accordingly.
Hard copy proofs are subject to printing and posting charges.
Customers must notify Telford Reprographics Limited in writing (through email or letter) within 48 hours of receiving the completed order of any printing errors found in the finished products. In order to arrange a reprint, customers must return all the delivered products within 7 days of delivery. Telford Reprographics Limited shall not be liable for any costs, expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or 3rd party company arising directly or indirectly out of any print error including the cost of returning the original items as previously mentioned. In the event that we have printed a job incorrectly and it is found to be exclusively our fault then we will supply a full reprint without cost to the customer. If the customer wishes to alter the artwork prior to the reprint then this will be treated as a new order and as such new charges will be incurred.
All complaints relating to an order or service must be made within 48hours of receiving your goods. Any complaints made after this time period are annulled of any right to refund or reprint. Telford Reprographics Limited has the right to resolve any complaint at our own discretion and we will not be accountable for any loss of income, profit, reputation, customers, or use even if we had knowledge that such damages or loss might arise for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or loss howsoever arising including without limitation breach of contract, negligence, wilful act or default.
Changing the Quantity of an Order
If the customer wishes to change the quantity of an order, the request must be made in writing, via email, before the order has been sent through to production. If the request has been made after the order has been sent to print, the additional order will be treated as a separate contract. Telford Reprographics Limited reserves the right to change the estimated delivery date if the quantity is changed by the customer.
Variation in Quantity Received
Telford Reprographics Limited shall be judged to have fulfilled its contract when 5% extra or less of the quantity ordered is received by the customer, after which you will be charged at the contract rate of the quantity received.
Variation in Orders
Telford Reprographics Limited does not guarantee an exact match to your previous orders whether placed with Telford Reprographics or another company. Due to the printing and finishing processes, slight variations may occur in colours, positioning on the sheet etc.
Telford Reprographics Limited does not guarantee an exact match of the quality of the paper printed on in previous jobs or samples received. Paper is purchased from a variety of suppliers and varies between each order we receive. Paper weight, colour and grain can vary between suppliers. Customers are advised to make a record of previous job specifications to help minimise this risk when ordering a repeat order.
Paper Weights (GSM)
Telford Reprographics Limited does not guarantee the paper weights (GSM) described as the paper received from our supplier allows for a 5% variation either side of the weight (GSM) listed. Due to the nature of our business, we do as much as we can to ensure that the weight is correct however this is still dependent on our supplier first and foremost.
Upon placing the order, every effort will be made by Telford Reprographics Limited to ensure that the order is sent and received at the correct time. But all estimated delivery days are subject to ‘best endeavour’ and we accept no liability in any loss the customer suffers from delay or error in the delivery of the completed order. The majority of our orders are sent out within a 24 hour period on a ‘next day’ delivery service provided by Interlink Express. The term ‘next day’ and all timed deliveries are still subject to ‘best endeavour’ and is not a guarantee of the delivery date.
In the majority of cases, orders are sent out and received within a 10 working day time period from receipt of payment, as long as the order is received within a suitable time and the artwork is ‘Print-Ready’. Upon placing an order, the customer will be sent an approximate dispatch prior to the order being completed; however this is also not a guarantee and is subject to change.
Telford Reprographics Limited accepts no liability for any losses, costs, damages or expenses sustained by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
Telford Reprographics Limited will not be under any liability whatsoever in the event that we are prevented or delayed from supplying or making delivery of any goods by any reason or cause beyond our control.
If an order is delivered to the wrong delivery addresses due to the wrong address being supplied by the customer, then the consignment may be returned to Telford Reprographics Limited. In the event of this happening we will arrange for re-delivery of the consignment to the correct address at a convenient time for the customer and charge for the extra delivery cost.
If it is possible for the parcel to be intercepted before it’s returned to Telford Reprographics Limited, then we will do our best to get the consignment returned to the local depot and then re-delivered to the new address without additional cost to the customer. However if the correct/alternative delivery address does not fall under the same delivery area and needs to be transferred to a different depot for delivery then there will be additional delivery charge.
Return of Orders, Cancellations, & Refunds
With the nature of the products we sell, reimbursements for products already printed or being printed are not possible. It is possible to cancel orders that have not already been produced or sent to print. In that case, we are entitled to charge 5% of the original order cost plus a £25 administration fee to cover time spent processing the order.
If any artwork amendments have been made by Telford Reprographics Limited the customer will still be charged for the design time quoted. This is dependent on the charge being agreed with the customer before the order was actioned.
If defects in the goods cause death, injury or damage to personal property, our liability for any loss or damage suffered by you in respect of the goods shall be limited to the contract value of the goods. Telford Reprographics Limited will not be accountable for any loss of income, profit, reputation, customers, or use even if we had knowledge that such damages or loss might arise for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or loss howsoever arising including without limitation breach of contract, negligence, wilful act or default.
If any of these terms and conditions listed are found to be illegal or non-enforceable, they shall be removed from the terms and conditions. All remaining terms and conditions will remain applicable and continue to be enforced by Telford Reprographics Limited.
Telford Reprographics Limited will not be responsible for failure or delay in the carrying out of our obligations developing from any event deemed outside of our control; this includes failure to acquire necessary materials unless at increased cost. In this event, Telford Reprographics Limited shall be entitled (with prior warning) to terminate the agreed contract in part of in its entirety.
Domestic and International Customers
Telford Reprographics Limited is intended for customers residing in the United Kingdom. We do accept orders from international customers however a UK address must be given as well as full payment prior to shipping. We can deliver overseas, however a full international delivery address must be given, including a contact number. International delivery is a longer process and will not be available same or next day under any circumstances (approximate timeframes will be given when order is placed).
Unless prior agreement with written evidence, all orders will need to be paid in full in advance of an order being processed. Alternatively the customer can select to pay for their order upon collection of the completed job. In the event of this, full payment must be made before the order can be taken off the premises. Payment for the goods is to be made through the options shown on our website only. Prices given on our site or received through email are in Pounds Sterling and payment will not be accepted in any other currency.
We are happy to accept Bank Transfers for goods, however all funds must be cleared prior to us commencing any printing.
Orders are accepted subject to our right to adjust prices quoted to take account of any changes in the law or Government regulations requiring us to increase prices by way of direct taxation, import duties, customs and excise duties or otherwise. The prices are based on today’s current costs of production and in the event of any increase in wages or costs of materials to us occurring after the confirmation of accepted contract; we shall be entitled to charge such increases to you.
If a customer finds a cheaper price elsewhere, Telford Reprographics Limited will do everything we can to match the price. However this is dependent on the price being based off a ‘like for like’ product and a link to the product must be given by the customer. Once these conditions have been met, Telford Reprographics Limited will contact you with an updated quotation.
Where applicable all prices quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate. If VAT is noticed on your order after the bill has been paid, you as the customer are still liable to pay the VAT in full. We are bound by law to charge VAT according to HM Customs & Excise guidelines.
These Terms and Condition shall be construed in accordance with English Law.
